2023 Presidency: Bukola Saraki’s Campaign posters flood Ilorin Metropolis

The 2023 Presidential campaign posters of Dr. Bukola Saraki, the immediate past President of the Nigerian Senate was sighted in conspicuous locations within Ilorin Metropolis, a development that has fueled fresh speculation that the Political heavyweight and National Leader of the Opposition party, PDP is set to join the race of those ready to take over from the incumbent, Muhammadu Buhari.

The Campaign Posters with different captions such as “Saraki is Back” , “2023 Presidency” were sighted by our correspondent along Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Unity Road, Challenge Interchange, Post Office and Murtala Mohammed Road.

Dr. Bukola Saraki who recently returned to Ilorin, the Kwara State capital noted that he will be spending the next 10 days in the ancient city. A move that Harmony Times had already reported as having political undertones based on feelers from the camp of the former Kwara State Governor.

Confirming the report by Harmony Times, Dr. Bukola Saraki hosted the Ilorin West PDP Stakeholders at his GRA residence in Ilorin to a reconciliatory dinner yesterday during the Ramadan breaking hours.

Earlier on, Daily Independent had listed Bukola Saraki alongside Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal as the three major aspirants that will jostle for the 2023 ticket of the People’s Democratic Party.

While the former aide to President Olusegun Obasanjo on Budget had neither confirmed nor debunked the rumors making the rounds about his 2023 presidential aspirations, his supporters are optimistic that the “leader” as he is fondly called by his followers will declare his intent to contest in no distant time.
