The Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority, KWARTMA, has today passed out 73 newly absolved officers transferred from Kwara Express.
The KWARTMA boss, Alhaji Yekeen Babatunde Bello, who officially presented 3 officers, 13 superintendent, 57 rank and file, after they have undergone four weeks training in all facets of the Authority’s operations.
He sought for their dedication, commitment, punctuality and passion for the job and unalloyed loyalty to the state government by discharging their duties in line with the ethics of the public service and the profession.
Mr Bello went further to appreciate the Kwara state Government for prompt payment of salary of their officers, coupled with their operational running cost.
The KWARTMA boss also thanked other corporate bodies for their cooperate social responsibility to KWARTMA in ensuring their smooth operation in the state.
He acknowledged the dignitaries present,the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works,Kwara State TPL Oloruko Oba Isiaq Olatunji,the Head of Service Mrs Susan Modupeola Oluwole and the representative of Mikano International Limited,Manufacturers of Geely Motors, among others.
Also speaking, the Head of Service Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole reiterated the commitment of the state Government to effective service delivery, while commending the newly absorbed officers, and advised them to cooperate with the state Government and carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
Susan, at the end of the event, commissioned the bikes and control booths donated to KWARTMA by Mikano.285
