Flash: GSM appoints KWASU Lecturer as Oyo State High Court Judge

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed a lecturer at the Kwara State University Malete, Dr. AbdulKareem Adedokun as a Judge of the Oyo State High Court.

Until his appointment, Dr. Abdulkareem Adedokun was the Head of Department, Business and Private Law, Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.

In his congratulatory message, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Muhammed Akanbi has felicitated the newly appointed High Court Judge in Oyo State.
Prof. Akanbi described his appointment as a well deserved one, giving his antecedent as an erudite scholar of the institution. Prof. Akanbi wished him a fulfilling career on the bench, as he dispenses justice without fear or favour.

Dr. Adedokun bagged his LL.B degree from the University of Ilorin, with an LL.M and a PhD in Law of Taxation both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 2006 and 2011, respectively.

His research interest is in Tax Law and he is also a Fellow of the Chattered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Notary Public.
