A Monarch from Igbomina part of Kwara State Oba Oba Dr. David Oyerinola Adedunmoye Elerin of Adanla-Irese has described the Governor of Kwara State as a ‘’noiseles’’ leader who is committed to the wellbeing of the citizenry. This statement was contained in Press release made available by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Intervention, Elder Kayode Oyin-Zubair.
This statement was made by the distinguish King when he received the State government’s implementation committee on National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) working on community engagement aspect of the project in his palace.
NALDA, which is an agency under the Presidency has chosen Kwara State has its pilot State for the implementation of National Youth Farmers of Nigeria (NYFN) project, taking-off with 3 local government areas in the State.
While commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s effort at attracting the project to the State, Oba Oyerinola said, “Governor AbdulRazaq is doing a lot without making noise. This government is touching everywhere, and it is more work with less noise. This is how to run a government.”
The SSA to the Governor on Community Intervention further made it known that the State and local government community development officers will converge on Ilorin on Tuesday 25th August 2020 for a workshop on capacity building to explore new trend in the field.
He added that ‘’The Community Driven Rural Development (CDRD) agenda of this government has continue to receive boost with more critical stakeholders buying into it. We are excited at the responses received from local and international collaborators on our commitment to the transformation of rural communities under the CDRD’’.310
