Just In: Family loses Oke-Onigbin Kidnap victim after payment of ransom

Engr. Ayo Alabi, a victim of the Kidnap incident that happened on the 9th of August, in Oke-Onigbin, Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State has died in the early hours of Friday, while receiving treatment at a medical facility.

It was gathered that Mr. Alabi, who was released to his family upon the payment of 4.5 Million Naira, had suffered maltreatment in the hands of his captors coupled with his subsisting state of health as a diabetic patient.

A member of the public, who noted on a Social Media platform, revealed that the kidnapped victim was seriously tortured, with all his toe-nails removed by his non-yoruba speaking captors.

Little has been said about the arrest of the Kidnappers as there have been repeated cases of kidnappings in the southern part of Kwara State which comprises seven Local Government Areas.

Engr Alabi is survived by his wife and daughter.
