Hon. Fatoye Oyewale, Supervising Councilor for Works and Housing in Irepodun Local Government has donated several office materials to the Police in his constituency in Oro.
He made the presentation today at the police post in Ijomu Oro, Oro Ward 1 headquarters.
The presentation was witnessed by the Oloro of Oro, Oba Abdulrafiu Oyelaran Ajibaye; TIC chairmen of Irepodun and Isin LGAs, Comr. Jide Oyinloye and Hon. Tunde Fadipe.
While making the presentation, Hon. Fatoye also commended the efforts of the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and congratulates him for a remarkable 2 years anniversary in office.
Materials donated include: set of office chairs and tables, office stationary, portraits of the President, State Governor and Police Commissioner, among others.
Hon. Fatoye said he had made the donation to boost the morale of the police constables, charging them to be good ambassadors of the community.
Similarly, Hon Fatoye also appreciated the elder statesman, and Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, Chief Raheem Adedoyin (Oloriewe) for his usual supports towards the improvement and uplifting of the community.
Represented by Ibaa of Oro, Chief Abikoye Ramoni and Sawo of Oro, Chief Raphael Babatunde, the Oloro of Oro appreciated the gesture of Hon. Fatoye, saying he’s following the legacy of his late father who was the Esorun of Ijomu Oro.
The DCO 2, Officer Theophilus who represented the DPO thanked the donor for giving back to his people, noting it will aid the fight against insecurity and criminality in the community.
The TIC chairmen and other stakeholders also took turns to commend the gesture of Engr Fatoye at the event.41
