The Kwara State government has. announced that the state Common Entrance Examination has been slated for 24th October, 2020.
This was made known by the Commissioner for Education, Hajia Fatimah Bisola when she interacted with pressmen in her office over the weekend.
According to a Press statement obtained by HarmonyTimes, “The Common Entrance Examination that was earlier fixed for today(Saturday), 17th October. 2020 will now hold on 24th October, 2020 across the state”.
She enjoined parents and guardians to prepare their wards for the forthcoming examination.
In addition, Hajia Ahmed also informed parents and guardians that the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) that was suspended due to workers’ strike will continue on Monday 19th October, 2020.
The Commissioner laid emphasis on the need for Stakeholders in the Education sector to abide by the Covid-19 safety guidelines in schools.
She wished pupils and students hitch free examinations.
