Lagos Lawmaker sponsors bill to establish Federal Tertiary Institution in Share

The lawmaker representing Lagos mainland at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Jimoh Abdulraheem Olajide, has moved for the establishment of the Federal College of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Share, Kwara State.

The Lagos State Federal Lawmaker, who is Share born, sponsored the bill which was read for the first time at the Green chamber on Wednesday. The titled bill reads, “Federal College of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Share, Kwara State (Establishment Bill) 2021, HB1633- First reading.”

Prior to this bill seeking to establish a federal institution in Share, Kwarans of southern extraction had bemoaned the absence of Government Institutions across the geopolitical zone in the state.

Share, a town that had produced the immediate past Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed, is the headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
