Late Oludofian: Vanguard of Peace, will be sorely missed by Omupo Constituency- AGF Salahudeen

The Honorable member representing Omupo State Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ganiyu Folabi Salahuddeen has commiserated with all the people of Idofian over the painful demise of the Oludofian of Idofian, Oba Zubair Agboola Adeyeye Oyesoro II.

This was made known in a press statement obtained by Harmony Times which was signed by his Media Aide, Luqman Abdulquadir.

He noted that the news of his demise was received with rude shock as the late monarch epitomized the identity of an ideal traditional ruler as he was vastly loved by his people and that his death has left all who must have had an encounter with him in deep shock and sadness.

The statement partly reads,

“I am sad and heartbroken to have received the shocking news of the death of Oba Zubair Agboola Adeyeye Oyesoro II, the Oludofian of Idofian.”

“It is essential to mention that the peacekeeping nature and practice of the royal father will be missed a lot, in Kwara State, particularly in our constituency, where he served as a stalwart and a shakeholder that dedicated his life to enhancing the development of his community, and affiliated societies.”

According to Hon. Ganiyu Folabi Salahudeen, Oba Zubair Agboola Adeyeye Oyesoro II is the longest serving traditional ruler in Kwara State having been enthroned as Oludofian on the 7th of May 1965, Two years before the formation of Kwara as a State.

While praying that the Almighty Allah forgive his missteps, He prayed that the Almighty Allah grant the family of the King, the council of chiefs and all the people of Idofian, the grittiness to live by the loss.
