Olofa mourns late C/River police commissioner, Lanre Jimoh

The Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Gbadamosi, Esuwoye II, in an emotional message condoles with family, friends, colleagues and the entire Nigerian Police Force for the sudden exit of Cross Rivers State Commissioner of Police, AbdulKadir Lanre Jimoh.

The late commissioner was understood to be a close friend of the monarch.

The monarch in a statement signed by his principal private secretary, Olayinka Kadri described the demise of the commissioner of police as a great shock.

He said: “It is with great shock that I recieved the unfortunate demise of My brother, CP Abdulkadir Lanre Jimoh. Words fail to express the current state of my heavy heart. This is a great loss and he will surely be missed. Rest on dear friend.”

Similarly, Olofa-in-council and the good people of Offa condole with the people of Baboko and the entire Ilorin Emirate, said the demise of CP Abdulkadir Lanre Jimoh is “Indeed, a great loss to Kwara State and Nigeria.”

He therefore prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his transgressions and grant him a special place in Aljanat Firdaus; and hold the family together with love and unity.
