Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has commiserated with families of the victims of Sunday’s Beechcraft KingAir B350i plane crash in Abuja.
The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain took to his Twitter handle to express his condolence and prayed for the families of those onboard the ill-fated flight.
Saraki, on his official twitter handle @bukolasaraki, wrote: “At this time, my prayers are with the Nigerian Air Force and the families and friends of the military personnel involved in today’s Beechcraft KingAir B350i plane crash. I pray for strength for the families.”
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) confirmed that seven of its personnel died in the plane crash that occurred on Sunday morning.
Spokesman for the NAF, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Ibikunle Daramola confirmed the number of casualty on his Twitter handle.
According to Daramola, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Isiaka Amao has ordered immediate investigation into the cause of the crash.319
